Gross Motor Skills are larger movements your baby makes with his arms, legs, feet, or his entire body. Rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, running, and jumping are examples of gross motor movements. These abilities are usually acquired during birth and early childhood as part of a child’s motor development. Toys can be used to practice motor skills and enhance gross motor skill acquisition.
